IS THE Sports Licensing Solutions KIOSK PROGRAM A FRANCHISE?

No. We provide you with the program and tools that you request and then get out of your way and let you run your business.

WHAT IS THE START UP INVESTMENT FOR MY KIOSK?

Cost will vary based on the size of the kiosk, how much inventory is carried and which services you wish to pay for. Typical opening investment is approximately $7,500. However, there are several other costs associated with opening a business. We have detailed many of these costs in a separate sheet in this package under the title “Investment Information”.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A LONG TERM LEASE WITH THE MALL?

No. This varies from market to market, but most malls offer 3 month leases on their kiosk leases. This helps you minimize your financial exposure, and is ideal for seasonal kiosk setups.

HOW DO I MAXIMIZE SALES / PROFIT MARGINS AT MY KIOSK?

During your on-site setup and training we will share with you many different ways that we have learned to maximize sales and profits in our company-owned kiosks. These ideas cover inventory selection, merchandising, sales techniques and catalog orders. Your preparation for success is why we want to help you on-site!

DO YOU SUPPLY ME WITH MY ENTIRE INVENTORY?

Yes we do. However, our agreement allows you to carry inventory purchased from other suppliers. We do not feel that this is necessary, but understand that some kiosk owners like the flexibility / control that this allows them in operating their business.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT INVENTORY TO CARRY IN MY KIOSK?

We work with you to tailor your inventory to your customer base. This would include looking at all of the various teams (college, MLB and NFL) along with the various mat types (indoor, outdoor, car mats, etc.) to help you maximize your sales and profits in your market.

WHAT DO I DO IF ONE OF MY CUSTOMERS WANTS TO ORDER A MAT THAT I DO NOT HAVE IN INVENTORY AT THE KIOSK?

We have an automated selling tool (called “catalog order”) in our POS inventory management system that allows a kiosk owner / operator to offer all 2500+ items that we sell at Sports Licensing Solutions to be sold to your customers. The order fulfillment occurs automatically in the background within 3 weeks of the date of the sale.

HOW IS THE KIOSK SET-UP / TRAINING COMPLETED?

Upon accepting your deposit to open a kiosk we will set a date to come out and work with you on set-up of your kiosk and training of your employees. We offer “on-site” set-up and training as an option in our package because we feel it is very important to set-up the kiosks in a visually attractive manner and to train the employees about the nuances of the business. Proper set-up and training increase your chances for success!

WHAT IS THE “INVENTORY SWAP PROGRAM?”

One of the significant risks that any retail business faces is: “What if I bring in the wrong inventory?” We have developed a program that minimizes that risk for our kiosk owners. We allow our kiosk owners / operators to return inventory that isn't selling and replace it with new inventory. We are able to do this because of the confidence we have that our product will sell.

IS MY KIOSK PROTECTED FROM COMPETITORS?

Upon receiving your deposit, we will not offer this opportunity to another kiosk owner / operator in your mall.
